I recently was listening to Ramit Sethi talking about how he uses one question out of ten to very quickly sift and sort through potential hires. He doesn’t even look at the answers to the other 9 questions. He looks for a specific way that he knows a competent person for that specific role would answer and he judges whether they move to the next phase based on that one answer.

Seems like the same kind of challenge could be used for outsourcing work as well. 🙂
